About
The last shrine still burns, and the dead have noticed. They come up the old road in waves — shamblers, bats, stone golems, wraiths that shrug off the cold — and every tenth wave the Hollow King himself makes the walk.
You hold twenty candles and a purse of gold. Spend it well: quick Bone Spires, splashing Ember Braziers, Frost Obelisks that slow the march, Thorn Altars that poison it, Gilded Idols that pay for the next tower, and Storm Reliquaries whose lightning leaps from corpse to corpse.
You decide when each wave comes — send early while the last one still marches and pocket the bonus. Every leak snuffs a candle. When the last one goes out, the vigil ends and the road winds differently next time.
